Twilight Hike to Zanja Peak
Bring Your Flashlights Degree of Difficulty: Moderate
Join us for an afternoon/evening hike to watch the sunset, and enjoy the evening sounds and sights of the Crafton Hills. Although there should be a full moon, bring your flashlight – it will be getting dark before we reach the bottom. Board member Dave Miller will lead.
When: Saturday April 19, 5:00 pm. Wear comfortable shoes – bring water & snack
Where: Yucaipa Regional Park, Oak Glen Rd, Yucaipa – We’ll meet by the park entrance gate and caravan to the trail head.
Park entrance is free for participants
“Water For The Future” Hike
Degree of Difficulty: Moderate
Yucaipa Valley Water District (YVWD) will lead this hike, providing a great opportunity to learn about plans for the reservoir expansion, and get your questions answered about our water situation. Hike leaders are Conservancy and YVWD Board member Scott Bangle & Joe Zoba, General Manager of YVWD.
When: Saturday May 17, 9:00am. Wear comfortable shoes – bring water & snack
Where: In Yucaipa, take Bryant St to Grape St, turn west, go about ½ mile - Park on the street.
